In verse 6 of the Eagles song Hotel California, Don Henley sings, “You can check out any time you like but you can never leave”. I think that this should be the mindset of the mayors and governors of the blue states whose millionaires and billionaires are leaving for sunnier and warmer climes.
Here me out on this. When the liberal escapees arrive in Florida, Mississippi, or wherever, they won’t just see the errors of their past ways and convert to sensibility.
