I'm always so glad that by an accident of birth I was born an American. That's a massive understatement too.

I've also had the good fortune of living in two other countries, one of them being England from the ages of 13 to 18, which further convinced me of what a great country we have.

So naturally I have a mild interest in what goes on over there. I saw a video today of the British Royal Family on their annual Christmas day walk to church while the peasants crowd on either side of the path to watch them and wish them Merry Christmas (or Happy Christmas, as it were).

It always amazes me that the Brits STILL have a royal family that is supported by the taxes of the good people of Great Britain.

I also happened to read today that King Charles owns a condo/ villa in San Ysidro, California.

How TF does someone whose entire life has been funded by taxpayers OWN other houses?? It seems to me that any surplus money that these freeloaders have should, I don't know, be RETURNED to the people who ...
