I still want a mushroom cloud over Tehran, but I understand if that's not going to happen. What is going on now is pure brilliance. Trump admin can still say we aren't in a war, but we are fully helping Israel destroy Iran. Death by a thousand cuts, as the Arabs say.

However, I think the ayatollah is going to go for broke. He is a religious zealot and doesn't care if his country goes out in a blaze of goat-fucking glory. He will assuredly escape and retire lavishly in a ritzy Paris suburb at the end of this. But his country will burn.

Regime change? Yes, but perhaps without a power-vacuum. That's the goal. Avoid a high civilian death-toll so they will rise up against the regime (whatever is left of it) and become a little more Western-friendly. Or at least rational enough to no not to fuck with Israel and the US.

But I still want a mushroom cloud over Tehran as payback for 50 years of terror, death and destruction. They richly deserve it.
