"Last week, the noxious Barack Obama wheeled out crusty rocker Bruce Springsteen to help celebrate the opening of his library, an appropriately awful building that looks like a concrete fungus or a brutalist tribute to Peyronie’s disease. The Boss has been at it for nearly a half century and looks it, with that kind of elderly facial tightness you get from a dowager on her seventh facelift. He reminds one of those human-skin warning signs staked out to scare mute humans away from the forbidden zone in the original Planet of the Apes. Appropriately, you probably don’t like Bruce Springsteen unless you were around to watch Charlton Heston on the big screen."

“Every election cycle we hear the same stupid spiel from a certain band of pseudo-conservative quitters: “Oh no, I’m not getting my way. I’ve got no reason to vote. I’m not going to vote. The Republicans aren’t conservative enough, so I’m just going to let the communist pervert Democrats win. Waa, waa, waa.” I don’t know whether this is tactical stupidity or a cry for attention — maybe it’s both — but it’s exhausting. Boss, I’m tired. Tired of the ostentatiously blackpilling pundits and posers who think electing Democrats by sitting out the election is the way to morph the Republican Party from a bunch of crony codgers managing America’s decline like gentlemen into a party that’s making America great again. “The regime media, and no one else, is up in arms over the fact that Donald Trump refuses to give special White House access to CNN, Politico, and MSNOW. Of course, the hyperventilation of the journalismists brings to mind the Shakespeare quote: “It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” And I do mean signifying nothing. No one cares. I suggest we run my Kurt Schlichter Give A Damn Challenge™ – go out and find 100 people, normal people out on the street, and ask them what they think of what happened with the White House press corps last week. Of them, 99 will shrug and look at you like you’re stupid, while the remaining one will have an opinion, but will also reek of oaky box Chardonnay and live with a bunch of cats.”
